Hi!
I’m Miguel or Mike, a Portuguese UX/UI Designer with a passion to create and an endless curiosity about how things work (and why). I can’t resist digging deeper, asking questions, and learning something new every day.
I graduated in Cinema and Multimedia from Universidade Lusófona and later completed a UX/UI Design bootcamp at Ironhack. From a young age, I knew I wanted to tell stories, maybe not in the way I imagined as a child, through a cinema screen, but through other means that serve a purpose and a function, like the ones we hold in our hands.
Over the past three years, I have focused on improving my UX/UI skills while working on projects for companies. My goal has always been to grow and gain professional maturity, without losing sight of the why, how, and what. I tend to ask a lot of questions (some would say too many), but that’s the nature of a UX Designer. We live in a world of constant iteration.
In addition to UX/UI, I have also taken on creative direction projects for music videos, live performances, marketing campaigns, and social media design. These experiences have shaped my approach to storytelling in different environments. My creative mind rarely stops; it’s always trying to tell a story, regardless of the platform.
